At least four militants, including some foreigners, were killed today when a US drone struck a compound in Pakistan's restive North Waziristan region near the Afghan border.
The CIA-operated drone fired two missiles on the compound in Datta Khel area of the tribal region early this morning, killing four militants, a security official said.
The identity of those killed could not be determined immediately, but an intelligence official said that some foreigners linked with al-Qaeda were also among the dead.
