Vastushodh launches largest affordable housing project

Pune-based realty player Vastushodh Projects today said it has launched India's largest affordable housing project 'AnandGram' at Bhandgaon on Pune- Solapur highway.

"We have launched India's largest affordable housing project 'AnandGram' at Bhandgaon on Pune-Solapur highway at affordable prices," Vastushodh Projects managing director Sachin Kulkarni said in a statement here.

"This project has many first to its credit, apart from being the largest affordable housing project by a private developer; it also has a distinction of being the first project in the segment to have received funding from a private equity fund Avenue Venture Partners," Kulkarni said.

Avenue has invested Rs 20 crore in the project, which is about 80 per cent of the land cost. Total sales revenue expected from the project is about Rs 225 crore, it said.
 

The project will come up on a 22 acres picturesque plot at Bhandgaon on Pune-Solapur highway near Yavat and will have over 2,000 affordable homes spread across 31 modern buildings that would be build in parking plus 7 floor format.

It will have multiple options like a studio apartment, 1RK, 1 and 2 BHK flats with compact, regular and large options.

Sizes of the homes here would range between 249 sq ft and 857 sq ft and shall be priced in the range of Rs 6.20 lakh to Rs 22 lakh all inclusive price, it said.

The project has received all required permissions and the construction work of the same will begin from the next month, Kulkarni said.

Vastushodh has made special arrangements for home loans by tying up with financial institutions like Micro Housing Finance Corporation, Home First Finance Company, HDFC and ICICI.
