Under the agreement, Advantec Network Systems will market TV/COM analog products in Indian and SAARC countries.
There is no equity arrangements between the two partners with the arrangement restricted to marketing, distribution and servicing.
TV/COM has also launched its Sigma X series of decoders, an extension of its Sigma analog product line.
Sigma X decoders offer enhanced pirate protection for cable operators.
It would be significantly easy for operators to shift from the Sigma series to higher analog products.

Advantec has in place relationships with global telecom majors like Lucent Technologies and UB Networks, for marketing, servicing of products.
