Matrimonial service provider Bharatmatrimony.com has decided to tie-up with telecom operators like Hutch, Reliance, Idea Cellular and others for its Interactive Voice Response (IVR) matrimony service. |
The online service provider has tied-up with Bharti Airtel. |
Launched in mid-May, IVR and speech reorganisation for voice-based matrimonial service enables user to send and receive voice messages from prospects on mobile handsets. |
According to Murugavel Janakiraman, founder and CEO of Bharatmatrimony.com, the company has already begun talks with several of these telecom operators. |
"We are in talks with telecom operators like Hutch, Reliance and Idea. Soon, in two-three months, we will have subscribers of these telecom operators using our IVR service too. Presently, only Airtel subscribers can use our facility," said Janakiraman. |
Explaining the concept, Janakiraman said, "We observed our subscribers were looking for more interactive ways of finding their prospects but were shy to appear before camera." |
"Through this service, the subscribers can either talk at length about themselves or hear about others. They can also record and send their feedback at our short code 5050 and the company will help them get in touch with their prospects," added Janakiraman. |
Bharatmatrimony is the first one in the country to have launched such a service. Janakiraman informed that the company is looking to add around 5 lakh members in the next two months. |
