Patni Computer Systems (PCS) is planning to set up a Rs 150-crore software development centre in Thiruvananthapuram, which will have the facility to house 3,000 professionals. |
The company is expected to kick-start operations in a year's time at Technopark, Kerala's first information technology park. Patni Computer is also looking for land near Technopark for its own campus. |
"The company is in discussions with the state government and Technopark officials to build an independent campus here," an industry source said. |
As part of its third phase of expansion, the state government is ramping up Technopark by adding 100 acres. Technopark is fully occupied with major IT companies moving in. |
Headquartered in Mumbai, Patni has a global footprint supported by multiple development centres across the key locations in India and sales offices in North America, Europe and UK, and the Asia-Pacific region. |
PCS has long-standing and vibrant partnerships with over 180 companies across the globe. Over 11,000 professionals extend services to clients across diverse industries. |
