Torry Harris Business Solutions, a provider of IT services with focus on middleware technologies, on Wednesday announced investments to the tune of $10 million in the Indian development centre this coming year. |
This investment would be used to further fuel the service oriented architecture (SOA) capacity, to cater to increasing customer demands and growth plans. |
The announcement marks significance after the set up of a dedicated R&D cell for SOA recently, constituting a major part of the Torry Harris workforce in Bangalore. The investment would be internally generated and is an extension to the $1.2 million already dedicated to the SOA drive. |
Speaking on the announcement, Ashwin Krishna, COO, Torry Harris Business Solutions, said "Our India development centre is consistently outperforming and this investment shows our commitment to high-end work held at the centre." |
He added that the Bangalore centre was already their biggest worldwide and the company was looking at increasing the headcount by at least 500 in the coming year. |
