Bs Reporter Chennai/ Bangalore
Torry Harris Business Solutions, a provider of IT services with focus on middleware technologies, on Wednesday announced investments to the tune of $10 million in the Indian development centre this coming year.

This investment would be used to further fuel the service oriented architecture (SOA) capacity, to cater to increasing customer demands and growth plans.

The announcement marks significance after the set up of a dedicated R&D cell for SOA recently, constituting a major part of the Torry Harris workforce in Bangalore. The investment would be internally generated and is an extension to the $1.2 million already dedicated to the SOA drive.

Speaking on the announcement, Ashwin Krishna, COO, Torry Harris Business Solutions, said "Our India development centre is consistently outperforming and this investment shows our commitment to high-end work held at the centre."

He added that the Bangalore centre was already their biggest worldwide and the company was looking at increasing the headcount by at least 500 in the coming year.
