Richa Industries bags depot construction contract for Lucknow Metro project

The contract, awarded by Sam India Built, is the third order that the company has secured from metro rail sector

Richa Industries Limited, a construction & engineering company, has secured an order from Sam India Built Well Pvt Ltd for construction of depot cum workshop for Lucknow Mass Rapid Transit System (MRTS). The project involves construction of 5 pre-engineered buildings (PEB) - inspection bay line & workshop; stabling shed; interior cleaning; pit wheel & lathe; and car parking.
 
The scope of work includes engineering design, fabrication, shipment and erection of pre-engineered buildings for Transport Nagar depot at North-South corridor of Lucknow Metro.
 
Dr Sandeep Gupta, joint managing director, Richa Industries Limited, said, “We are glad to get this project of Lucknow MRTS awarded to us by Sam India Built Well. We have won this project for our turnkey division. After associating with DMRC, this is the third order that the company has obtained from Metro Rail sector.”
 
Richa Industries Limited is operational in pre-engineered building, structural steel, turnkey & textile sectors. The company has a PEB manufacturing plant in Kashipur (Uttarakhand) and textile manufacturing plant in Kawnra (Faridabad, Haryana).
