Terry McAuliffe, Governor of Virginia (USA), currently on a business mission to India, visited the headquarters of Uflex Ltd, a global player in flexible packaging & plastic film manufacturing. Uflex’s international operations and transactions accounted for 54 percent of its total revenue during financial year (FY) 2014-15. Notably, the sales revenue from Uflex’s Kentucky operations in the US during FY 2014-15 stood at approximately $ 137 million out of the total consolidated revenue of around $ 1 billion.
Interacting with the leadership of Uflex, Terry McAuliffe said, “We are indeed very pleased to meet Uflex and are excited to see their capabilities in the realm of flexible packaging business globally. We invite and welcome Uflex to set up business in Virginia and assure them of full cooperation and support from our side.”
