Temple construction in full swing on disputed religious site in Ayodhya

Ayodhya (Uttar Pradesh), Aug 15 (ANI): Even as the case related to a disputed religious temple of Ayodhya is pending before the Supreme Court, construction of the temple is going on in full swing at the controversial site. The construction work at the disputed religious site, which is claimed both by Hindus and Muslims, began late June after a Hindu fringe group, Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP), started to bring truckloads of stones for temple construction.A supervisor said the construction work has gained pace in the wake of the resumed hearing in the case in the apex court and would pick up further. Meanwhile, a Hindu group member, Sharad Sharma said that 66 percent of the construction work at the disputed site was completed.
