Microsoft on Tuesday onboarded governments open network for digital commerce (ONDC), with an aim to introduce social e-eommerce via its app in the Indian market.
Platforms that have already integrated with ONDC's network include PayTM, Digiit, eSamudaay, Go Frugal, Growth Falcons, Seller App, Dunzo and Loadshare
The network first began its pilot on April 29 in Delhi, Bengaluru, Coimbatore, Bhopal and Shillong
The development comes in the backdrop of the small-scale implementation of ONDC over the last two months
The open network concept will not be restricted to the retail sector but will extend to mobility, food delivery, travel, among others
