Who is Giriraj Singh?
Giriraj Singh is currently serving as the 21st Minister of Textiles since 2024. A staunch supporter of Narendra Modi from the beginning, he publicly supported Modi for Prime Minister for a long time. He was born on September 8, 1952, in Barahiya town in Lakhisarai district of Bihar. He has been a prominent figure in Bihar politics and has served in various governmental roles.
Political career: Singh started his political career with the RSS in the early 1980s. The RSS shaped Singh’s political beliefs and ideologies. He served in the government of Bihar as Co-Operative Minister from 2005 to 2010
