Roger Binny is an Indian former cricketer and the president of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), succeeding Sourav Ganguly.
Binny is best known for his impressive bowling performance in the 1983 Cricket World Cup, where he was the highest wicket-taker (18 wickets), and in the 1985 World Series Cricket Championship in Australia, where he repeated this feat (17 wickets).
With ICC handing a 2-match ban to India captain Kaur, India will be without the services of their skipper in the first two matches of the Asian Games 2023.
