Who is Arjun Tendulkar

Arjun Tendulkar is an Indian cricketer who plays for Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League and Goa in Indian domestic cricket. Son of legendary Sachin Tendulkar, Arjun came to the limelight because of his lineage to the Master Blaster.

Often named in the nepotism debate, Arjun didn’t really get anything served to him on the platter as far as cricket is concerned. Not of top quality, but he has improved his bowling and batting, and thanks to a century in the 2022-23 Ranji Trophy for Goa and a wicket as well, the left-arm pacer got to make his IPL debut for the Mumbai Indians on April 16, 2023 against Kolkata Knight Riders.

Early Life
Arjun Tendulkar was born on September 24, 1999 to Sachin and Anjali Tendulkar in Mumbai, India. Raised in Mumbai, Arjun attended Dhirubhai Ambani International School, famous for its star kid students. Although having travelled to England on various occasions, Arjun did not study there. He completed his graduation from Mumbai university itself.

Career
Being a son of a great father in the cricketing world, Arjun remained under the lens right from the very start. The left-handed bowling all-rounder has represented India Under-19. He debuted against Sri Lanka in 2018.

He played his junior-level cricket for Mumbai but could not really break into the senior team in a great manner. After having warmed the benches for two years and played just two T20s, Arjun changed bases and played the 2022-23 domestic second for Goa.

So far, junior Tendulkar has played 10 T20s, seven First Class and seven List A matches and taken a combined total of 32 wickets and scored 268 runs. He hit his First Class century this season while batting against Rajasthan in Ranji Trophy.
