Q & A/ Elizabeth Coffey

 Elizabeth Coffey attended the same university as Hillary Clinton and Madeline Albright. She claims that Wellesely, among the only three single sex colleges left in the US, produces a lot of women leaders and was ranked number one by the New York Times for generating graduates who broke through the glass ceiling. Coffey, of course, makes leaders out of women.  As partner and UK team leader (for leadership capabilities practice) at organisational consulting firm Mercer Delta, she works with companies on ethnicity and gender diversity issues.  Prior to joining Mercer Delta in August 2002, she worked as partner and senior executive coach with The Change Partnership, developing a portfolio of clients from the top 250 companies and public sector organisations.  She has three books to her credit, including
