Dressing in Canali suits (Rs 54,000 upwards) and Satya Paul ties (Rs 1,500 upwards) always has Jyoti Narula of Genesis Colors at his best. He says, “Satya Paul ties are my all-time favourite to express my mood, while Canali suits are the easiest way to dress up for any occasion.” We won’t disagree. Narula has proudly added a pair of Tie Rack cufflinks to his wardrobe recently, which he picked out of a collection that he calls “Wow!” (Rs 4,500).
On the shelf
When he’s not working, Narula loves to curl up with a John Grisham book. “I have the entire collection, which I can read and re-read,” he says. (Rs 300-500 each)
Digi tell
On the go, Narula is heavily dependent on his BlackBerry (Rs 25,000). “It took me some time to be comfortable with the instrument but now it’s an integral part of my day, especially when I’m travelling,” he explains. He wouldn’t leave town without his Apple iPod Touch (Rs 12,000) either, which stores his children’s favourite songs. “My Apple AirBook is also indispensable,” Narula says (Rs 70,000).

Working out
Narula’s personal gym, fitted with assembled equipment, keeps him fit and active. He says, “I can’t manage without exercising on a daily basis, so I have built a personal gym inside my office.”
