Astamita Rajmahima hits the stores

A book called 'Astamita Rajmahima', authored by Biswarup Mukhopadhyay, a former journalist, has hit the stores recently. The book narrates 26 small stories on Bengal's royal families.

The stories used to come out weekly on Sundays in erstwhile Bengali daily 'Jugantar' in 1988. The book depicts the life and time of royal families at the height of their glory and what their descendants were now doing in today's world.
