From the shortlist you have submitted, we think the new Honda City should be your next car. It is a bit over your budget, but it is new, has good technology going for it, is maintenance free and reasonably comfortable too. Amongst the other C-segment cars, the Ikon and Accent are good value propositions (since they have been around for a while), the Indigo is economical to run but is not the most refined car you can get, and the Esteem is old but is economical and has spirited performance (and is cheap to maintain too). If you are in the Honda City league, it also makes sense to look at the Chevrolet Optra 1.6 (bigger car, more comfortable ride quality). To bike or not to... I am in my late forties and want to get back to riding. I recently saw the advertisement for the Hyosung-Kinetic Comet
