For a golfer, it is extremely necessary to look good, both on the course and off it. And Shiv Kapur loves to buy clothes. He rates Hugo Boss as one of his favourite brands. “I love their clothes but there are too many brands to choose a favourite.” But if he had to choose, he says, it would be a Hugo Boss T-shirt (starting at Rs 3,000) in which you will always find him. Kapur says he is extremely conscious of the clothes he wears and prides himself on his good taste.

Kapur mentions his BMW 6-series coupe as a favourite too and it comes as no surprise. Kapur, who was appointed as BMW’s golf ambassador, is completely besotted with the sedan. “It has got everything one looks for in a car — luxury, style, prestige and, above all, great driving pleasure,” says the 26-year-old golfer. Kapur is a globetrotter and is always on the move due to his professional commitments. He admits that he rarely gets the time to actually drive his car. “Though I am a sports car freak, I also love SUVs,” he adds. His garage includes a BMW 3-series, which, he says, is very special for him too. The BMW 6-series was gifted to him by the company and costs more than Rs 1 crore.
Time traveller
Kapur also loves to collect watches. An Audemars Piguet is the highlight of his collection. He says he bought it a couple of years ago. “On my travels, I always pick up different watches. Over the years, I have collected a host of them,” he explains — but the Audemars Piguet watch remains his favourite. He says he always carries a couple of watches when he is travelling. Kapur believes that since there aren’t many accessories that he can sport, he makes sure that his watches make a style statement.
Cash and caddy
Designer clothes, watches and luxury cars. Kapur does admit to the fact that he lives life to the fullest. He is not apologetic about his lifestyle and points out that he works really hard to have it that way. “I am not much into flaunting my stuff, but who doesn’t like the good things in life?” he asks. You are right on the money there, Shiv!
