Cricket Update: India wins 1st ODI by 39 runs

 India were all-out for 203 runs of 46.4 overs, but came back strongly and dismissed England for 164 of 38.1 overs.

 Harbhajan Singh was the hero of the day - he did well both with the bat and the ball today. After having top-scored for India with 37 runs, he came back to claim five wickets for 31 runs in 10 overs.

 While Irfan Pathan took three wickets, Yuraj Singh picked up two wickets.

 For England, Pietersen top-scored with 46 runs, and skipper Flintoff scored a quick-fire 41 runs.

England were 160 for the loss of nine wickets chasing 204 runs to win the first ODI against India.

L Plunkett is batting on 12, and J Anderson is on 11. Last man dismissed was Kabir Ali for nought.
