The government is likely to rope in the services of ex-servicemen for ensuring safety and security of the foreign across the country.This was disclosed by minister for tourism and culture Ambika Soni in the written reply in the Lok Sabha here today.Soni said that her ministry was working with the ministries of the home affairs and defence and the governments of the states and union territories for framing guidelines for setting up tourist security organization comprising mainly of ex-Servicemen for the safety and security of tourists.She admitted that the government was concerned about the incidents of violence and harassment targeted against foreign tourists in India.
