We have been driving these cars recently and can say that it is the Fiesta that is better when it comes to fuel efficiency and it is the Magnum that trumps the Ford when it comes to performance. The Fiesta diesel will offer 11.5 kpl in the city (10 kpl for the Magnum) and 19 kpl on the highway (16 kpl for the Chevy).  Now which car you should go for depends on the way you plan to use the car. If you like your car to be substantial to look at and need slightly more interior space, then yes, it is worth spending additional money on the Magnum. But if you are going to use the car mostly for commuting and if you have a chauffeur, then the Fiesta TDCi is all the car you need.  Loaded Magnum  I intend to buy the Chevrolet Optra Magnum 2.0 LT for my parents.
