Film festival pulls in crowd

The ongoing film festival here, a part of the Rajasthan Day celebrations, is getting an overwhelming response with movie lovers queing up to theatres to watch their favourite flicks.
 
The city's Golcha and Entertainment Paradise cinemas, where the department of tourism is providing free tickets of various films on a first come first served basis, are packed to full capacity.
 
According to tourism department sources, these shows are being screened at 9 am every morning. Raj Bansal, a film distributor, said Jaipur, which has a variety of multiplexes, should organise such festivals on a regular basis.
 
Films like the colour version of K Asif's Mughal- E- Azam, Amitabh Bachchan's Khakhi and Baghbaan, Aamir Khan's Lagaan and Dil have been screened. Other popular movies to be screened are Parineeta, Mr India, Mann and Rang De Basanti.
