Haryana-based adventurer Jaibir Singh Virk, along with his fellow adventurer Amit Chaudhary registered his name in the Limca book of world record for the longest Indian expedition on a tractor from Chandigarh to Kanyakumari. Completing 7050 Kms, criss -crossing 28 cities in 19 days to reach back Chandigarh on world peace day , the duo took this journey to spread the message of peace.

"In the whole journey the team haulted only four times. The journey rather became exciting when we were exhausted and decided to complete the stretch from Kolhapur to Haryana around 1700 km at a stretch," Virk said.

Narrating about their expedition, Virk said, "It was not an easy task, nor the drive was easy as we were required to drive around 400 Kms a day, around 18 hours, to complete the journey in time. At times fatigue took on us as tractor is a slow vehicle and cannot be driven beyond a certain speed. To top over, the route passed through hills, deserts, curvy roads and tight plains but an added advantage was the A/C tractor which gave us ample relief. Talk about their mean machine and they tell, "It is a 75 HP Indo Farm tractor, sleek, powerful and stylish". We almost felt like a celebrity when we got to know that the tractor was used in 786 Khiladi by Akshay Kumar and in Chennai Express by Shahrukh Khan for its stylish look."
