Herbal products for tobacco users

Ashian Herbex Limited, a city-based natural health products manufacturing company, has launched two new herbal products targeted at cigarette smokers and tobacco chewers.

While Smoktime, a health candy, is useful for smokers who usually suffer from lung and throat related problems, Panntime candy is useful for tobacco chewers who usually suffer from mouth ulcers, tooth related problems and gastric troubles.

"Smoktime contains curcumin and amla, which relieve the smoker from mutogenisis (a harmful adverse effects of smoking). Curcumin is a powerful anti-mutagen and anti-oxidant, and reduces 30 to 50 per cent of mutagen load in smokers. Amla is a natural vitamin C, which helps to improve resistance power. This is an ideal candy for smokers who are not in a position to give up the addiction," said a press release here.

"Apart from curcumin and amla, Panntime contains ginger. These ingredients relieve the tobacco chewers. While amla improves body resistance, ginger regulates gastro intestinal track system. Panntime is an ideal candy for tobacco chewers to minimise the harmful effects of tobacco chewing," the release added.
