Despite recession, Institute of Management Technology, Dubai, the overseas campus of IMT, Ghaziabad completed its placement season for a batch of 100 students with an increase in the average salaries at Rs 12 lakh, this year.
Companies like Kotak Mahindra, Sony Gulf, Spinneys, Schneider Electric, UAE Exchange, ICICI Direct, HDFC Habib Bank, AG Zurich participated in the campus placement programme. Average salary being offered by the companies participated in IMT Dubai campus recruitment process was Rs12 lakh per annum.
A M Sherry, chairman - joint admission committee and dean IMT (CDL) said, "We have witnessed an increase in average salary being offered by the world’s top companies from financial, banking and other sectors to our students of Dubai campus. Our focus has always been to prepare managers who are familiar with the business environment of the region, capable of operating efficiently across markets and responding to the requirements and expectations of companies conducting business in this part of the world. "
