If you have not yet seen the show Mutant Beauty, curated by Gayatri Sinha at Anant Art Gallery in New Delhi, you could still catch it this week. The viewing has been extended till January 17.

Also in the capital, at Stainless Gallery, you can view the first solo show of paintings by Ahmedabad-based artist Nabibakhsh Mansoori, in Decoding Dreamscape, organised by Bajaj Capital Art House jointly with Visual Art UK and curated by Sushma Bahl. The artist’s work seems to wind its way through a labyrinth of brightly-coloured, layered imagery inspired by his childhood. From January 17, an interesting visit would be to the Windmill Gallery, where Yantra Mantra, a photography exhibition of architectural abstracts by Sanjay Nanda, is on display.

Divine Melody, an exhibition of recent paintings by Bratin Khan is on show at Dhoomimal Art Center from January 10-23. His works are based on the Krishna philosophy and the medium is vegetable tempera on canvas.

At the Guild Art Gallery, the first solo of Baroda-based artist Lokesh Khodke finds display in The Three Worlds and Other Spaces, beginning January 10.

Meanwhile, Red Earth and Apparao Galleries present an exhibition featuring artworks by contemporary artists on the theme of Calendar Art from January 19. An exponent of contemporary British art, Julian Opie’s debut show in India begins on January 30 at Sakshi Gallery in Mumbai. Also worth your while could be All that Glitters is Litter, an exhibition of paintings, sculpture and installations, by artist Anjum Singh. The show will be on display from January 17 at Delhi’s Vadehra Art Gallery. Early February, you can look forward to Collective Intent-IV, works by 23 renowned artists to be showcased at Visual Arts Gallery, Habitat Centre, and later at Gallerie Alternatives, Gurgaon.
