Favourite cuisine
I’m a meat and potato man. I like all kinds of food, from a good Burger King burger and a good steak to good Chinese

What food items do you like to shop for? Why?
I don’t shop that much for food. Occasionally on holidays tag along with my wife and ‘advise’ her on her food shopping. Advice that’s not terribly useful!

Your IT tools
By new MacBook Pro, my BlackBerry, my iMac

Where do you like to sit when being driven? Upfront with driver or back seat like sahib?
I love driving. Prefer driving on my own. But otherwise it depends. In front sometimes when I am alone or back when staff is in front accompanying me.

On a plane do you prefer to network, sleep or catch up on films and reading?
I sleep mainly when I am travelling alone! On day flights, I like reading or writing.

Can you cook? What?
I can do good eggs, good steak. So I’m covered for breakfast and lunch.

Are you a beach or mountain person?
Haven’t done that many mountain holidays. Definitely a beach person.

Very important and a significant influence in how I live

Favourite café
Not a café person! But when I do, it’s Café Coffee Day because it’s owned by a friend.

Favourite restaurant
No favourite one. When I am home, I go where my kids or wife want to. But when alone, I go where I like the service and food.

What’s your workout regime?
5-6 times a week with my personal trainer who manages it depending on my energy level, and mood.

Your ideal holiday
Fly into a destination that doesn’t involve a torturous drive from the airport! Check in, order room service, turn on the TV or start a book. But my wife and kids have evolved me into being more adventurous in my holidays.

At parties do you like to talk turkey or PC?
I avoid parties, unless they are small ones. And then it depends on the crowd. Good people, then I am happy. If it’s a boring group, then I look into my drink and do minimum PC and bail out at the earliest.

A few of your goddesses are?
Uma Thurman, Michelle Pfeiffer, Charlize Theron, Adele, Smita Patil, Shakira!

Alpha males you know
My idea of great men is JFK, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Steve Jobs, Craig McCaw

Your favourite motto
I am not afraid to take a stand — Eminem. The problems of this world cannot possibly be solved by sceptics or cynics whose horizons are limited by obvious realities. We need men who can dream of things that never were — JFK.
