Mildly restyled, with a new bumper, grille, headlamps, front fogs and tail-lamp clusters, the RAV4 has always had the 'fun and funky 4x4' image which Toyota are keen to maintain, despite the car's advancing years.
The old 1800 CC petrol unit has been replaced with 2000 CC VVT-i petrol and D-4D diesel engines. The old front-wheel drive model has also been axed and all new three- and five-door models feature selectable 2WD.
Vehicle Stability Control, Traction Control, Brake Assist, and climate control are all options.
A wide-body styling kit, with colour-matched bumpers on selected shades and a new design of 16-inch alloy wheels are also available.
