Brent's success last week makes the father-son duo the first to win the same tournament on the PGA Tour. Former PGA champ Al Geiberger became the first man to shoot a 59 and is often referred to as Mr 59. |
In 1998, the Geibergers were the first and only father-son partners to play in the same PGA Championship. They already were one of five duos to win, thanks to Brent's first career victory at Hartford in 1999. |
