What is the next gadget on your must-buy list?

A Sony PlayStation. The gaming console seems to have become a current high point for my six-year-old, so acquiring the console tops the chart.

If you could build it, what kind of dream gadget would you go for?

Since my daily needs revolve around a mobile phone that also delivers music and entertainment, I would go for a device with the characteristics of a BlackBerry, iPod and PlayStation all functioning in unison.

If you could be a gadget, what would you choose to be?

I wouldn't mind turning into a very high-end personal digital assistant, as, for me, it does everything that a human can.

What is the most embarrassing moment you have had while exhibiting your technical skills?

I was not able to combine two pictures on my digital camera, even after I had read up on it comprehensively at Dealers For You. I had an embarrassing moment when I could not display my imaging prowess to my wife.

Which one of your gadgets has been a complete waste of money?

After I bought a top-end answering machine, I realised that no one believes in leaving phone messages in this country.

Name one wacky gadget that you had fun experimenting with.

A foldable keyboard with my first O2 PDA. It used to be such a sight on flights when I drew it out from my coat pocket and quite literally "assembled" it. The person in the next seat would get psyched out every time.

Can you unwind with the help of your gadgets?

My mobile phone is the best stressbuster for me. Every day, while on my way back home, I spend my time downloading from one WAP site or another.
