It was a high-level meeting in the Department of Telecommunications (DoT).
On November 25 the department summoned top executives of a handful of top telecom companies for a closed-door session in Committee Room-2 at its headquarters in Sanchar Bhawan.
Among those present were top executives of Videsh Sanchar Nigam Ltd (VSNL), Flag Telecom, British Telecom and Bharti.
