Dismissing the advertisement campaign unleashed by the Anil Dhirubhai Ambani group against Mukesh Ambani-led RIL and Petroleum Ministry, Law Minister Veerappa Moily today said the government was “not interested” in such a move.

“We are not interested in any advertisement campaign by any private party... We will not comment as the matter is sub-judice,” Moily said after emerging out of meeting a ministerial group formed to supervise the government’s stand on the gas dispute in the Supreme Court between the two Ambani groups.

The meeting, which is believed to have been called for discussing power PSU NTPC’s next move in its legal battle with Reliance Industries for getting the gas at a committed price, remained inconclusive and is likely to resume tomorrow.

“The chairman (Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee) had to go for the meeting with Nepal Prime Minister, and so we could not discuss anything,” Power Minister Sushilkumar Shinde said.
