Hinduja Foundries, a part of the Hinduja Group, today said the company's operations at its Ennore plant near here was disrupted due the effect of cyclone 'Laila'.

"The operations of the company have been disrupted due to the effect of the cyclonic storm accompanied by heavy rain in Chennai from May 18," Hinduja Foundries said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).

Due to the heavy flooding inside the Ennore factory, the firm is forced to shut down operations, it said.
