18 auto spare firms to take part in Hanover fair

Eighteen auto component companies from India will display their latest products and technological development at the Hanover fair this year The fair is a forum for exhibiting innovations.
 
Among them is an Aurangabad based company, Grind Masters which claims to have the world's widest range of machine tools for deburring, polishing, grinding and micro finishing. Grind Master will be presenting four machines, each with unique technical features, to compete in the golbal markets.
 
Founded by an engineer couple, Milind Kelkar and Mohini Kelkar, Grind Master is a thriving niche business with clients from all over the world.
 
Mohini Kelkar said, "The technology of micro-finishing with films caught our attention during a visit to European trade fairs and we started to develop it indigenously. Today, we are one of the five companies in the world who have this technology. It is gaining popularity with Indian auto component industry too. Mainly among those making transmission and engineering components," she said.
