Deccan Chronicle has announced its third quarter results. Its net profit went up by 202.57 per cent on a y-y basis to Rs 77.67 crore from Rs 25.67 crore during the corresponding quarter of last year. Its net revenues shot up by 8.70 per cent to Rs 233.37 crore. The operating profit went up by 174.14 per cent from Rs 41.10 crore to Rs 112.67 crore in the third quarter of FY10.
The board of directors of the company has declared an interim dividend at Re 1 per share.
Its stocks were trading at Rs 139.25, a fall of 5.53 per cent, on Friday at BSE at 1209 hrs.
