2G case: Anil Ambani, others to appear as witnesses

Ambani's counsel says will explore all legal options including challenging decision

The 2G trial court today allowed CBI's plea to summon Anil Ambani, wife and others as witnesses in the case. The court said that it  was important to summon witnesses for a just decision.

It allowed a CBI plea to add 13 new witnesses in the case including Ambani.

The topics likely to come up for discussion include investsments/ divesmtments in and out of Swan telecom, the decision on inter locking equity structure, decision on corporate structure of Swan telecom among others.

Ambani's counsel, meanwhile, said that they will start attending court from Monday and will challenge the decision then, adding that they will explore all legal options.
