3-hole indoor golf tourney for corporates

To reach out to direct customers and improve its brand identity, Allied Domecq Spirits and Wine is holding an inside-office golf championship called 'Teacher's Achievers Office Golf Championship' for its corporate customers in Delhi.
 
Starting from October 1, corporates like Pepsi, Samsung, Shopper's Stop and Grey Worldwide will be participating in the event. This golf championship is supported by Teacher's Highland Cream, the flagship brand of the Allied Domecq Group.
 
"It is very important to reach out to customers and create brand equity, and with such championships we aim to create brand recognition for Allied Domecq. It not only fosters better HR relations, it lends to the lowering of stress levels that corporates are often identified with, Harish Moolchandani, managing director of Allied Domecq said.
 
For this championship, the Teacher's Achievers implementation team sets up a 3-hole Golf course run by a team of 10 people, better known as the 'Office Golf Team'.
 
The employee with the highest score and skill, from each corporate is considered to be the office champ. Apart from being a sporting event, the championship also provides corporate executives with an opportunity to communicate with each other.
 
This office golf championship began in Mumbai with a series of games, with participation from over 60 corporates. The participating companies were from a range of sectors like entertainment, finance, FMCG, quality control, management consultancy, media and IT.
 
Corporates such as Prudential ICICI, Coca Cola India, Reliance Capital Asset Management Limited, Hyatt Regency, Tata Indicom, India Bull.com, Mukta Arts, Cholamandalam, Marico Industries, Indian Register of Shipping were also in the league. The winner of the Mumbai leg of the championship was Matrix Cellular Services.
