Aban Singapore Pte, a subsidiary of Aban Loyd Chiles Offshore, has acquired 100% holding of West Africa Drilling N.V.No financial details were announced in the release issued by Aban Lyod Chiles Offshore to the BSE today.West Africa Drilling N.V. is incorporated under the laws of Netherlands Antilles. The company has entered into an agreement for the purchase of a drillship, which will be renamed Aban Abrabham after completion of the purchase formalities, the release added."Aban Singapore Pte has signed a contract with operators for drilling four wells with an option to drill four more wells in West Africa," the release said.
