Abbee Sshope to set up retail counters at HPCL outlets

Abbee Consumables and Peripherals Sshope Ltd (Abbee Sshope) has entered into an agreement with Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd (HPCL) to use the latter's petrol pumps as outlet facility for Abbee cartridge collection and refilling centres.

BB Somani, CEO of Abbee Sshope, said on a pilot basis three petrol pumps in Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad areas had been selected.

The selected petrol pumps are BU Bhandari Service Station on Deccan Gymkhana, Excel Service Center on Karve Road and TCI Petrol Pump in the Akurdi industrial area. HPCL has agreed to allot around 150 square feet area for setting up the Abbee Sshope collection centres.

"HPCL customers will be offered special concession," said Somani, adding that they would also provide doorstep delivery facility for refilled cartridges once the customer had deposited their cartridges for refilling at the centre.

Pune Retail regional head at HPCL, A M Atri, said the pact was one of the various initiatives which HPCL had undertaken keeping in view the changing customer needs.
