Buoyed by Gujarat government's efforts to promote green energy, the companies operating in the state are also coming up with novel ideas to encourage usage of power generated from renewable sources.
Abellon CleanEnergry Limited, promited by Claris Group founder Sushil Handa, has firmed up its plan to create a village, which will used bio-energy to meet its power requirement.
"The proposed bio-energy village will be spread across 700 acres of land and it will probably come up in Ahmedabad district", said Pankaj Patel, president and member of the board, Abellon CleanEnergy Ltd.
