ABM to spread its wings

ABM Knowledgeware, which is involved in e-governance, has strengthened its operations in Dubai.
 
Apart from the UAE, the company has also appointed business partners in North Africa and Middle-East, which include countries such as Kenya, Tanzania and Oman.
 
Prakash Rane, managing director, ABM, said, "We are in the advance stages of client acquisition in these geographies. The company is looking at increasing its export earning up to 20 per cent of its total revenues."
 
On account of its domain expertise in computerisation of secretariats, municipal corporations, citizen services, land records, utility billing and revenue administration, ABM has executed several projects in this domain worth over Rs 25 crore.
 
ABM's clientele includes Central government agencies, various state government, local bodies, district administrations etc. in different parts of India and Middle East.
 
ABM has pioneered the concept of citizen facilitation centre (CFC) and SETU in Maharashtra by successfully providing an IT framework for time bound service delivery to citizens.
 
These solutions have been implemented and replicated in various other municipal corporations, councils and district collectorates.
 
Recently, ABM Knowledgeware has collaborated with Spanco Telesystems, to develop state-of-the-art application software, vast data stores and advanced computer telephony integration to power Mumbai's Disaster Help Line for BMC.
 
Access code '108' is aimed at optimising resource mobilisation during disasters such as earthquakes, bomb blasts, landslides building collapses and major accidents in Mumbai.
