ACC on the hunt

The Associated Cement Companies (ACC) is looking at increasing its capacity through acquisitions.

The company has an installed capacity of 18.3 million tonne per annum and is looking at taking its capacity over 20 million tonne by the end of this calendar year.

Naveen Chadha, president operations, said, "We are looking at growing more than 20 million tonne per annum in less than a year. This could come through acquisitions. However, we have not yet finalised any specific plant or location."
