Associated Cement Companies (ACC) has reported a 130% increase in consolidated net profit at Rs 53.30 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2004 when compared with Rs 23.20 crore in Q3FY04.According to a release issued to the BSE today, total income has increased to Rs 1,053.97 crore from Rs 845.70 crore in the previous fiscal."Total income for the consolidated results includes shares of earnings of associates," the release added.The company, on a stand-alone basis, has reporte a profit after provision for taxation & exceptional items of Rs 53.08 crore in Q3FY05 as against Rs 22.32 crore in Q3FY04.Total income has increased from Rs 791.17 crore in Q3FY04 to Rs 987.61 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2004.
