Cement maker ACC today reported a 86% rise in its consolidated net profit at Rs 463.20 crore for the fourth quarter ended December 2011, on the back of higher sales.
The company, in which Swiss major Holcim holds a majority stake, had reported a net profit of Rs 248.86 crore a year ago, ACC said in a statement.
Net sales of the company rose to Rs 2,647.40 crore during the quarter against Rs 2,093.27 crore in the October-December quarter of the previous year.
