ACC to launch exclusive outlets in Andhra

Associated Cement Companies Limited (ACC) is planning to set up exclusive retail outlets in all major towns of Andhra Pradesh. In a value addition proposition to the customers, these exclusive retail outlets will provide information on best construction practices, professionals and building material suppliers.

Christened ACC Exclusive Dealer, the first-of-its-kind in the state was inaugurated at Kurnool recently. According to Rajiv Kumar, senior manager, more such outlets will follow soon.

Besides this, the 'Grihamitra' service, which was earlier launched by ACC with a mobile concrete testing unit will continue to function for the benefit of customers, according to a press release.

These units, which are equipped to test concrete and aggregates used at construction sites, will provide onsite services to individual house builders. This service is meant to assist customers by providing simple techniques and information on good construction practices.

Most of the problems of durability originate from improper construction practices and use of improper construction materials, the press release said.
