Adity Birla Nuvo reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 66.71 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 2006. The company's total income stood at Rs 1,480.49 crore.According to a release issued by Aditya Birla to the BSE today, the results are not comparable with that of the corresponding quarter due to the merger of Indo Gulf Fertilizers and Birla Global Finance with the company from September 1, 2005.
