Adlabs enters Rajasthan

Adlabs Cinemas, one of the largest cinema chains in India, has opened its first cinema in Kota, Rajasthan. Presently, it has 111 screens spread over 36 properties nationwide and it recently became the first cinemas chain in India to cross 100 screens.

Tushar Dhingra, chief operating officer, Adlabs Cinemas, during the launch said: "Kota is a popular tourist destination due to its rich history. Also it has a huge population of students, making it an attractive location for Adlabs Cinemas, and apt for our entry into Rajasthan."

The new fully air-conditioned Natraj Adlabs on station road has a world-class widescreen viewing screen and consists of 661 seats, DTS sound, Xenon projection systems and plush seats along with food and beverage offerings.

Adlabs, a part of the Reliance Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group, has a dominant presence across the value chain "" production of films and TV content, film processing and services, domestic and international distribution of content and a nationwide cinema chain.

Adlabs currently has a market capitalisation of over Rs 3,000 crore.
