Reliance-Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group (R-ADAG) promoted Adlabs is all set to launch Big 92.7FM stations in nine cities by October 15. The nine locations are the four metros as well as Hyderabad, Bangalore and Jammu, Srinagar and Aligarh."As part of the strategy, we have chosen the key metros for establishing brand recognition, and later take our radio to other markets that have never experienced this medium of entertainment," Tarun Katial, CEO of Adlabs FM Radio Initiative, said. In the first phase, the company will kick off with Delhi on September 24, followed by Hyderabad and Chennai on September 25 and 27 respectively. "We plan to launch our entire 45 centres by March 2007. Once we are through with this, Big FM will have its presence in 1,000 towns and 50,000 villages, reaching 20 crore listeners across the country," Katial said.
