After CEO and COO, Network18 CFO R D S Bawa too steps down

Industry grapevine suggests that this might not be the last exit we see from the media network and others may soon follow

In what seems to be an exodus at thesenior management level in Network18, Raman Deep Singh Bawa, the group CFO has also called it quits at the company.

This is the third senior managementexit at the network in two days after group CEO B Sai Kumar and groupCOO Ajay Chacko stepped down yesterday (May 28).

An honours graduate from Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi University and a chartered accountant, Bawa had worked with BHEL, Trackparts of India Limited, Weston Components Limited and Bestavision Electronics Limited before joiningthe Raghav Bahl led media network 19 years back.

Through his stints across companies, he has 34 years of related work experience in cash flow planning, budgeting, liaison with banks and financial institutions, handling ofpublic issues, project implementation, taxation, secretarial andother legal matters.

Bawa refrained from revealing thereasons for his decision to step down or where he was headed.

In a notification filed on the BSE, Raghav Bahl, founder and editor, Network18 said, "Binni, as we alknow him, is decidedly, the most dependable and trustworthy friend,who has unequivocally seen Network18 through its peaks and troughs.His contribution to this Group is immeasurable and I thank himsincerely for his unwavering support in his years at Network18."
