No-frills airline Air Deccan is slated to float its initial public offering (IPO) by March or April this year. |
The airline is also planning to start six new routes and acquire 112 planes over 112 months, even as it is looking at ways of collaborating with other players in the same space. |

"We will be ready for our IPO in the first quarter of this calendar year, that could be by March or latest by April. We are working on it and we expect to come to a conclusion on the date by the end of this week," G R Gopinath, chairman and managing director, Air Deccan, said on the sidelines of the 'Digital Summit 2006' here today. |

However, he did not divulge the amount expected to be raised from the market nor the number of shares to be offloaded. "All these will be decided in the next few days," he added. |
